Many of the substances modelers use to fill seams are too tough for filling seams or imperfections on figures. I use spackle. Because spackle is water-based, it’s easy to remove excess with a damp cotton swab. It takes paint well, too. Let it dry, then smooth it with a fine-grade sandpaper or sanding stick if needed.
