Use a resin pour plug to help paint your figures

It’s easier to paint 1/35 scale figures if you can attach them to a temporary base. Resin figures usually come still attached to their pour plug (a square or rectangular block of resin). You have to cut or saw away the plug. But don’t throw it away. After cutting the figure off, I sand the plug flat. Then I tack the assembled, unpainted figure to the plug with a spot of thin super glue. This kind of super glue has little shear strength, so it’s easy to twist and snap the figure off when you’re through painting.
