To highlight panel lines or create exhaust stains, try using Faber Castell Pitt Artist pens. They come in a variety of colors and can be wiped away with your fingertip. Draw over the panel lines and rivet detail and wipe away! The pigment ink is archival. Try a good art-supply store to get them.
