Here’s a simple way to create your own seat belts. Make them from fine strips of fabric Band-Aids. A single adhesive bandage can provide enough material for at least a half-dozen 1/48 scale seats. Use scissors rather than a No. 11 blade to cut the strips or you risk unraveling the bandage’s threads.
To finish the seat belts, add a dab of silver paint at the ends and on the shoulders. Feel free to weather them with pigments or a wash. And the best part of this system? Once you remove the backing, they are self-adhesive!
