On December 7, 1941, Japanese aircraft launched from carriers attacked the U.S. fleet at Pearl Harbor drawing America into World War II. To mark the 75th anniversary of the start of the war in the Pacific FSM wanted to see your best models from the theater. We hosted a photo contest and attracted dozens of submissions of aircraft, ships, and armor. All subjects were used in the Pacific between December 7, 1941 and September 2, 1945, the day Japan formally surrendered aboard USS Missouri.
And find out which 12 models were chosen as Editors’ Picks and Readers’ Choice in the May 2017 issue of FSM
