In a May 2010 Reader Tip, Jason Sloboda suggested using a hockey puck to prevent liquid-cement bottles from tipping. Another idea is to use thick paper. I take a piece about 3" x 3" and cut an X in the middle slightly bigger than the diameter of the bottle. Then, all I have to do is slide it over the bottle and it’s ready, steady, and hard to knock over.
