Store your paint bottles upside down

RELATED TOPICS: PAINTING

Reader Tips in the May 2014 FineScale Modeler featured a tip from Gene Best for modelers to mark the tops of paint bottles or cans with a dab of the paint to make them easier to pick out from a drawer or tray. I would only add the suggestion of making this mark on the bottom of the container and storing it upside down. This seals a bottle, jar, or tin, extending the paint’s shelf life.
