Custom jig for assembling tracks

FSM-RT0412_20

I made a simple jig to make aligning and assembling individual-link tracks easier. I started with a 12"-long block of 1" x 1" wood. I glued a strip of wood 10" x 1/2" x 1/8" (Part A) along one edge of the block. Then I cut an identical strip (Part B), but rather than gluing it into position, I secured it with two 1" strips of wood held in place with screws. This allows me to adjust B to the width of whatever track I am assembling.
