That Academy Tomcat looks like they took some ideas from the Tamiya Cat, especially the way the forward windshield is molded.
Small nitpick, Elizabeth; the squadron designation is VF-143; VFA is used for modern F-18 squadrons that delight in dropping stuff on people’s heads. ??
As a side note, the tail art was supposed to represent a griffin but legend has it a squadron wife looked at it and commented, “It looks like a dog puking!”. Thus the Puking Dogs name.

The Alfa Romeo was kitted in 1/8 scale by Pocher many years ago. I built one in the early 1990s. Otherwise, thanks for NPRD, I enjoy every episode.
