Foamboard helps organize modeling workbench

FSM-RT0212_10

Here’s a tip to keep all your freshly painted parts, prepared parts, and spare blades and tools together right in front of you. If you’re like me, nothing is ever where you left it.

Get a large piece of styrene foam sheet and a strip of double-sided foam tape. Put tape on the foam sheet and attach it to a wall near your workbench. Now you can store spare blades, cocktail sticks, instructions for the model you are working on, and similar items in front of you, but out of harm’s way. Take a break and your stuff is still there in front of you. There’s no stress of getting everything out the next day. I do my model building in a small workshop, and this has made a difference.
