Sorry it took so long to reply. I either use a screw to attach the model to the stand or most recently I use extremely strong rare earth magnets. They will easily hold a 1/35 scale armor kit without worrying about it falling off.

Definitely want to try this for my armor models! I would like to know how the model is mounted to the plate that is on the top of the stand.

Please clarify for me, how do you mount the model to the handle? Do you drill holes in the bottom and use screws? I know, stupid question but I don't think I'd like drilling holes into the bottom. Especially if the armor has an interior. I wonder if blue tac or something else would be strong enough, yet temporary.
