January Build-Off Challenge

Build a model in a month!
FSMJanuaryBuildOffChallenge

We all want to build more models. Accomplish that goal with FineScale Modeler's "January Build-Off Challenge!"

The No. 1 thing on our New Year's resolution list is to sit down at the workbench more often. To kick ourselves into gear and prove we mean business, each of our staff members will be building a model from start to finish in one month.

Join us January 1st and build a model of your own!

Check in with us often on Facebook, Twitter, via email, or on our forums and let us know how it's going. Tell us what kit you're working on, what modifications you're making to it, send us in-progress shots and finished ones, too!

This year, let's build more than we ever have!

What will you be working on? Post on our wall.

Savage
Editor Mark Savage is building Revell's 1/25 scale Arcierio-Wells Pioneer Reynard Indy Car. Doesn't he look crazy, er... excited?
Aaron
Senior editor Aaron Skinner is building Eduard's 1/48 scale Spitfire Mk.VIII.

Hembree
Associate editor Mark Hembree is building Dragon's 1/72 scale Flakpanzer 341.
Elizabeth
And assistant editor Elizabeth Nash is building Polar Lights' Seaview submarine from the classic TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. Join us!

This is a down side to over the road truck driving. I honestly felt like a kid again when I heard of the 1 month contest. I'm in NY, now & after Chicago will be in Houston & I have no time. I'll be living the contest thru you guys so don't let me down, but you never do. AS & EN your videos are my favorite show. You don't know how many people like me are fans.
Respectfully,Monk

My plan is to try the Challenge with either Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 Genestealer Cult Goliath truck or Deathwatch Corvus Blackstar assault aircraft--depending on whether I'm feeling villain or hero!
