Solution for weight problem

RELATED TOPICS: MODEL DISPLAYS | MODELING TOOLS
Ballast is essential for keeping the nose wheel grounded on some model aircraft. But sometimes the space available isn’t big enough for fishing weights or lead shot.

Enter powdered lead: I discovered it while browsing www.golfworks.com. (The heavy powder is used to add mass to club heads.) I pour the powdered lead into the area to be filled, then seal it with a coat of super glue. I’ve used it this way, and it works wonders in problem areas.

Wear gloves and respiratory protection when using lead because it can be harmful.
